nypl: With all the recent stories of cats and dogs being rescued from weird places in New York City (the cat was pulled from a wall in Brooklyn, the dog from the Hudson River), we thought we’d dedicate this week’s Caturday to this little munchkin, who was rescued from an electrical control room during the 1939 World’s Fair. The photo is from our World’s Fair collection in our Manuscripts and Archives Division.

just found my ‘aims for 2010’ list

- get blonde. or at least light brown/highlights.

- get skinny. size 8. no stomach.

- do well in exams.

well I achieved the first and last, guess the second can be this year’s aim!
